BEETROOT CURRY

Ingredients

Beetroot 1

Grated coconut 1/2 cup

Cumin seeds 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder 1 tbsp

Garlic 1 clove

Mustard seeds 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Oil 2 tbsp


Preparation

1. Grind coconut, cumin seeds and garlic coarsely.

2. Cut beetroot into small pieces.

3. Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, after it crackle, add beetroot and salt. Fry well.

4. Add little amount of water and cook beetroot.

5. Add grinded coconut and chilli powder. Mix well.

6. Turn off the heat.

7. Serve it with rice.
