CARROT THORAN

Ingredients

Carrot 3

Coconut 1/2 cup

Cumin seeds 1 tbsp

Garlic 2 flakes

Chilli powder 1 tbsp

Mustard seeds 1 tbsp

Urad dal 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Oil 1 tbsp

Preparation

1. Cut carrot into small pieces.

2. Grind coconut, cumin seeds, garlic and chilli powder coarsely.

3. Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, after it crackle, add urad dal, carrot and fry.

4. Add salt and small amount of water and cook carrot.

5. To this add grinded coconut and mix well.

6. Serve it with rice.
